Our Director/Owner
My name is Tasha Holland and I am very excited to be able to continue my legacy of creating a safe, supportive and stimulating environment at Caring Hands Play and Learn. I have been an educator for over 20 years and absolutely love it! I began my career as an early intervention teacher working with preschool-aged children. I also worked in The Philadelphia School District as a classroom teacher. After 7 years in the classroom, I was offered a position as a literacy leader. The position allowed me to work directly with teachers to support, supplement, and extend instruction to improve student literacy skills. After starting my own family, I was blessed to be able to continue my passion for teaching by opening an in- home center. I have been running Caring Hands Daycare for the past 15 years. My mission has been to provide families with quality care. Caring Hands is an environment where children are fully able to blossom physically, emotionally, and intellectually. I am extremely proud of the reputation that we have built over these past 15 years under the name of Caring Hands Family Daycare. I look forward to partnering with families for many years to come!

Our
Three Key Principles
LEARN

Our program uses fun weekly themes and hands-on projects that help children expand their knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.

PLAY

Young children develop many skills through the power of play. Our daily schedule offers a variety of opportunities for children to develop language skills, emotions, creativity and social skills using the power of play

GROW

Each child develops in a unique way: however, our staff understands the stages of development and uses developmental milestones to gauge individual progress.
